Pirshaghi is being updated based on the project of MANARCH studio

Reconstruction works were launched in Baku’s Pirshagi settlement on April 16, and the foundation of repair work was laid.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the event.

It should be noted that, according to the order of President Ilham Aliyev, remarkable landscaping work has been started in Baku and Absheron districts since 2019. We have witnessed a successful experience in the example of the Balakhani settlement. This process continues in Bibiheybat, Novkhani, Amirjan, Ramana settlements.

Now Pirshagi will get a new look, which is essentially old and in shape. The primary purpose of the events is to make the people here live in better conditions and feel more comfortable. Pirshagi has historically been considered a favorable area for climate therapy. In the end, the goal is to improve the environmental situation.

Landscaping works in the settlement will be carried out both on existing buildings and in open spaces. In the central part, in front of the mosque, it is planned to build a park following Eastern gardening traditions. In the center of the park, which will be made on the traditional “Char-Bagh” (Jahar-Bagh) principle, there is a water basin, and roads are separated from it in four directions.

Landscaping works in Pirshagi also have a positive impact on employment. The vast majority of those involved in the process are locals. Pirshagi, which aims to become one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the post-pandemic era with its new face, is also expected to produce products that meet demand.
