“Baku Khan’s Garden” – interview

“Baku Khan’s Garden” was designed in 2017 by MANARCH architectural studio. The founder of the company, Ilgar Manafsoy, told us more about this project:

“As you know, archeological excavations in the Old City have been going on for a long time. The remains of the Bath, which appeared in 2015, are the result of those archeological works. Specialists from the Austrian company Atelier Erich Pummer GmbH were involved in the restoration work, and MANARCH studio was involved in the design. In addition to architectural restoration, the bathroom will use augmented reality technologies. For the second, experts from the leading Belgian company Alfavision were involved. Encouraged by the scale of the restoration work and the fact that the bathhouse is considered the dominant feature of the fortress, the Icheri Sheher administration has included the 7,500-square-meter open city area adjacent to the bathhouse in the landscaping area. ”
